Ross Electric - Celebrating 40 Years of Continuous Quality in Colorado

Safety First!!!     hardhat1.wmf (1304 bytes)

Ross Electric recognizes the importance of emphasizing safety on every job site.  Our personal safety goal is zero accidents on every job.  We take care to create opportunities to teach, demonstrate, support and promote safe habits and working conditions on all of our jobs.  We also encourage our employees to make their own suggestions for improving our safety habits and practices.

Education is the beginning of safety. This begins in the classroom and continues on the job site. Some of our certified training programs include:

  • Basic construction safety

  • Lock-out and Tag-out

  • Scissor lift operation

  • Confined space

  • Fork lift operation

Ross Electric performs Job Hazard Analysis on our government projects and submits these for review and approval by the government agency before any work is performed. Once approved, the analysis is reviewed with the field crew so they fully understand how to eliminate or reduce job site hazards.

Ross Electric holds weekly safety meeting on each job to highlight safety concerns and issues that our crews should be aware of.  This gives every Ross Electric employee time to share concerns they may have, and to share safety tips with each other.  By working with each other, and constantly being aware of all safety considerations on a job, we constantly work towards our goal of zero accidents on every job!
